The Queenie, The Warden (she LOVES that one), Psycho (she reads my mind WAY too often), Honey, Mama, etc. She is the glue to my crazy…together we parent the small ones.
Kim is a RN at a local hospital. Her job is to make sure pregnant women stay pregnant. I’m not talking about ALL pregnant women, just the ones that are having pre-term labor issues. She has been a RN for 8 years now, and still loves her job. I think it is because it is her only chance at getting away from me.
When Kim is home she has many, many, MANY hobbies that keep her busy when the kids allow her a little time. One of her all-time favorites is reading. Kim is able to get through THICK books in a single week. The last Twilight book (that is about 300 pages too many for me) took her all of 2 days…if that. If we bought her new books every time she finished one…well…we’d have no place to walk in our house, and it would be more expensive than my electronics compulsion. I really wish we could afford to do that for her though; maybe with a nice big private library, too. Besides reading Kim enjoys sewing projects, scrap-booking, and taking enough pictures to fill our hard drives with thousands upon millions of memories. Handy for when I lose my mind completely.
We work well together with the kids. I can’t stand to do “arts and crafts” with them, and she can; yet only I can tolerate having the kids help me cook. She is the that missing piece to my puzzle…I wouldn’t know what to do without her around. Luckily for me, she puts up with me. I like to remind her, at times, that it was out of her own free will she walked down that aisle. Love you Honey!
