Class starts Monday and the past two weeks off have flown by. I have three classes left and then BSU will have to fork over that degree. What I am going to do with the degree I have no idea. There are many places I am sure I could get a job with it…what said job will pay is another story. I have student loans to pay back, habits to support (electronics, shoes, etc) and two kids who need clothes and shoes. Ok, so they each have more clothes than Kim and I combined but you know how it is.

I am learning how to use Photoshop this semester…that should be beneficial. I used it quite a bit in my internship, but was always restricted as to what I was allowed to do because the VP of Marketing and Sales had specifics of what he wanted. That worked out well considering they laid off half the office staff (literally) because sales were so slow and they couldn’t afford to keep people on.

That internship was a great place to learn and they asked me to submit a resume when I was done so that maybe I could come back to work there (they were going to keep me on after my internship and did for 4 months)…but I’m not sure about working there. How stable is the construction industry? It is cyclical. There are really good years and obviously bad years. They’ve been around since the 80’s and ranked in the Top 3 for over 10 years straight…but there are only so many projects to be built.

I’d like to get in with a video game, computer or car company since they are things I am really interested in…but we’d have to move. We like it here and the only desire to move would be to be closer to work for Kim. Also thought about doing some web design because it is easy and somewhat fun. Ok, so it is fun right now because I don’t have to do it.

No matter what I do when I’m done I will be disappointed when I am done because I enjoy the amount of time I get to spend at home. I don’t use an alarm clock (other than the kids of course) and go to bed whenever I like. I am usually home for bedtime, naptime, dinner, etc.

Nothing I can do about it…eventually I have to grow up.
