There are two things that drive Kim nuts when using myspace. There may be more, but these are two things she has complained about somewhat regularly. First is people that don’t use their real name. Second is people that have their profile’s set to private.
I am one that is guilty of not using my name on myspace. I started out with it, but have not used it since. Drives Kim nuts because she likes searching for people that she used to know and does so by using their name. I don’t use my real name for that exact reason. If someone wants to find me they should be able to. They would have to find someone else that is on my list and link from it. I have a friend from high school on here that uses her real name…so anyone from those days should be able to find me via her. She also has our high school listed so she shows up there if you search that (not me).
My profile is also set to private. I don’t like random people reading through my shit. If I know you, like you, want to communicate with you, etc. I will add you as a friend. Once you are my “friend” feel free to read away. Most of you know that I don’t update my profile much (took me a few weeks to update from 9 tattoos to 10) and only post this blog, random jokes and such…but I message people every now and then.
I went searching for people I used to know last night and found one person I was looking for. Obviously, not everyone in the world is on here and it doesn’t help that I don’t remember everybody’s last name, if they got married (ladies of course), or possibly even how to spell their first name correctly. That’s life.
On a side note you may notice some odd things that I am watching, listening to, etc while doing these entries. Most of you could probably guess that they are things the kids are watching or listening to because, as any parent knows…what we want to watch takes a backseat to the kids choices.
