I love my son, really I do….but he makes me just laugh and say WTF sometimes. They got pictures taken this morning and while they were wandering around they both got a pair of Crocs. For me Crocs are right up there with Uggs in the “Why????” category.
Understandably, Paige got pink Crocs. Swore she would never be dressed in pink, but somehow it invades your life once you have a girl…and quite frankly she looks damn cute in pink. She also has bumble bee and butterfly Jibbitz to further accessorize her shoes.
Aiden, dear sweet boy, got his Crocs with aligater Jibbitz…but my son is wearing Crocs and loves them. I had just got him sold on a pair of yellow Air Jordan Retro 1’s for pre-school, and now I have to pry the Crocs out of his grasp first?!?! Oh yeah, he was allowed to pick any color he wanted…can you say John Deere Green!

Rest assured, Aiden will be retrained to adore and desire Air Jordan’s. I hope by the time he is 10 he will have as many shoes as I do if not more. After all, his shoes are much cheaper than mine. Paige will have tons of shoes anyway, she’s a girl so it is almost a requirement; but Aiden will require Daddy’s guidence to get addicted to the “Shoe Game”.
